This Workshop / Course is designed to provide proper barista basics that can help any coffee enthusiast get started with a career in the industry or simply beef up your home barista skills.   Students of this course will receive foundational barista training and knowledge, taking what they've learned as a point of entry into the profession.  

The ULTIMATE GOAL of this course is to provide training and offer a skill that can help change someone's life and create a new career path in the industry, whether it be with OSO Coffee or any other coffee shop in the city.

- Understanding the different grind settings for various coffee brewing techniques

- "Dialing In" the coffee grinder and the perfect espresso shot

- How to steam milk (whole and alternative milks)

- How to prepare all of the classic espresso based drinks

- Cold Brew basics 

- Brewing machine maintenance (daily cleaning protocols for espresso machine, grinder, and other brewing tools)

- Pour over basics

- Latter art basics

- How to talk with customers about coffee and the different types of coffee based drinks
